Syphaduepassi lamp
Enzo Catellani designed his first collection of outdoor lights for Catellani & Smith in response to the trend of widening the interior space through the exterior, with the terrace becoming an extension of the house.
Enzo Catellani's main goal was to create a collection of indoor lamps suitable for outdoor installation; luminaires created for the outside, but able to recreate the same warmth and atmosphere as the interior lights. Glass plays a major role in this collection. This is how Syphasera, Syphasfera (both lamps in cooperation with architect Maurizio Quargnale) and Syphaduepassi were developed, which, due to their minimal design, integrate perfectly with the environment, as if they were part of nature itself.
