A simple, slim support is doubled on the short sides of the desk. A "formal statement", a repetition, a doubling, the reduction of a more compact, solid foot to its skeleton, its marginal lines, its limits. From the steps rise metal brackets, also doubled and in broken-line form, supporting a light, suspended pinnacle: a kind of overhead covering of a more solid, architectural base construction. All geometry, with its subtle relationships between the elementary forms that make up this range, is highly refined, super-controlled, planned and with precise rules of its own.
